We are private practice, licensed psychotherapists and registered Marriage and Family Therapist interns. We speak English and Spanish and are of European, Asian, Pacific Island , Hispanic, Middle Eastern and African descent. We find the diversity, depth and quality of the therapists that presently comprise L.I.F.E. to be our greatest asset.
Each therapist and therapist-intern practices independently and separately, and is not responsible for the actions, suggestions, or treatment of any other practitioner at L.I.F.E. L.I.F.E. Counseling Group is not a partnership, a joint venture, or a professional counseling corporation.
Academically, we teach or have taught at UCLA and USC medical schools, UCLA extension, Philips Graduate Institute, Azusa Pacific University, University of Phoenix and Simmons College.
We have authored books on communication, consciousness, shamanism and meditation, therapist training, and mixed marriages (Christian/non-Christian). We have published articles in various journals and periodicals and produced albums on meditation and hypnosis. We have given lectures and workshops on three continents in the fields of marriage and family therapy, general psychology, general psychiatry, alternative and complimentary psychology and psychotherapy, organizational psychology, communication, relationships, peacemaking, hospice, Christian counseling, and hundreds of other specific topics.
