The Art of Therapy
Take a moment
Picture, yourself the person you desire to be
Your life shaped by dreams
Fulfilling relationships
Worries naturally melting away
Now climb into this picture
How does it feel to be that person?
What is it like to live that life instead?
Imagine this vision as reality
Create the image of who you want to be and the life you desire
This is the first step

It is natural to feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges and disappointments. It is normal to label emotions such as depression, sadness, anger, or frustration as “bad” or believing something might be wrong with you. At the same time, there’s also a knowing somewhere deep inside telling you that within these emotions lies a powerful motivation to move towards healing—towards something better. Together, we will explore those dynamics keeping you stuck as well as those that are working.

Although, it is common to self-judge or blame, I believe we can work towards acceptance and forgiveness. Inside a journey of self-discovery blossoms the compassion for yourself and others.

I believe therapy can be an effective means of discovering and reconnecting with your personal and unique strengths. It takes courage to share your problems and pain with another. The art of therapy provides a safe environment to take gradual and courageous steps forward towards personal fulfillment. I offer a nurturing and non-judgmental approach to helping you take those steps safely and confidently, assisting you on the path towards creating the life you desire. Just as the lotus emerges from beneath the shadowy water, and blossoms, you also can experience within you the surfacing of hope and healing.
