Cynthia Belzer is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. Her background includes fifteen years in the field of education, working with students identified as having special learning needs and difficulties with social functioning. In addition to the broad range of theoretical and clinical skills required for licensure, she has specialized training in sandplay therapy. Cynthia earned her Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College, and in addition to private practice, works with high school students identified as being at-risk. She is a member of CAMFT, NAMI, AAMFT, and is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. Cynthia has been in practice since 1990, and maintains professional standards through continuing education and consultation with colleagues.
